Interlock Driveways
& Patios

Create an entrance you are proud of and an outdoor space you want to use. Thoughtful layouts, carefully prepared bases and precise finishing bring the whole property together.

Design inspiration

An investment in everyday living

A considered finish.
A foundation that matters.

Interlocking pavers offer a versatile way to shape your driveway, patio and walkways. Colour, scale, pattern and border details can complement the architecture of your home while defining spaces for arriving, entertaining and relaxing.

The visible finish is only part of the job. Soil conditions, excavation, base compaction, edge restraint and drainage all influence how the surface performs through Ontario's changing seasons. We assess these details before recommending a construction approach.

Whether you are starting from bare ground or dealing with a sunken existing installation, we can discuss a new layout, a targeted repair or a more complete rebuild.

Built around your property

From the driveway to the backyard.

Driveways & entrances

Practical, well-proportioned surfaces designed around vehicle use, access and the character of your home.

  • New driveway layouts and replacements
  • Contrasting borders and entrance details
  • Transitions to garages, sidewalks and steps
  • Base preparation appropriate to site conditions and loading

Patios & walkways

Connect the areas you use every day with comfortable routes and space for outdoor living.

  • Backyard patios and seating areas
  • Front and side-yard walkways
  • Paver patterns, colour combinations and accents
  • Coordination with steps and landscape edges

Repairs & restoration

Existing pavers may be reusable when the underlying cause of movement can be addressed.

  • Lifting and relaying settled sections
  • Base correction and edge-restraint repairs
  • Joint-sand renewal where appropriate
  • Assessment of pooling, uneven areas and spreading joints

Your written estimate sets out the agreed excavation, materials, disposal and restoration scope. Requirements vary by property and intended use.

Make informed choices

The right look. A realistic plan.

Choosing your pavers

  • Colour & textureChoose a finish that works with your brickwork, stone, roof and landscaping. Samples are more useful than screen colours for final decisions.
  • Size & patternLarger formats create a contemporary feel; smaller units suit detailed patterns and tighter spaces. Driveway products must be suitable for vehicle loads.
  • Borders & transitionsA restrained contrasting border can define edges and connect a driveway to its entrance walkway.

What influences your estimate?

Area is only one factor. Excavation depth, existing material removal, access for equipment, soil conditions, drainage changes, paver selection and the complexity of cuts all affect the scope.

We review the property before confirming recommendations. A repair may be economical where the surrounding installation is sound; recurring settlement may justify rebuilding a larger area.

Discuss my options

From idea to installation

A clear path to your new space.

01 / ASSESS & DESIGN

Understand the site.

We discuss how you want to use the space, review levels and access, and establish the layout, material choices and scope for your estimate.

02 / PREPARE & INSTALL

Build from the base up.

The agreed work may include removal, excavation, compacted base layers, bedding, paver placement, cuts and edge restraints.

03 / FINISH & HAND OVER

Complete the details.

Joint treatment, finishing and cleanup complete the installation. We discuss use, maintenance and any product-specific care requirements.

Before you begin

Interlock questions,
answered.

Can you repair interlock without replacing it all?

Often, yes. If the pavers are in good condition, affected sections can sometimes be lifted, the base corrected and the units relaid. We first look for the cause of movement so the repair is not simply cosmetic.

How deep should the base be?

There is no single depth suitable for every property. Soil, drainage, frost exposure, product requirements and whether the area carries vehicles influence the base design. We assess the site rather than quote a universal depth.

Will the new surface help with pooling water?

Surface grades and transitions are considered during planning. Some properties also need drainage work beyond the paving itself. We discuss those requirements before installation; paving alone is not always the solution.

Does interlock need sealing?

Not every paver requires sealing. Suitability and timing depend on the product, desired appearance and site conditions. Cleaning, maintaining joints and addressing movement promptly are important regardless of whether a sealer is used.

How long will installation take?

Timing depends on area, excavation, access, material availability and weather. We discuss a project-specific schedule and access arrangements once the scope is established.
